To the late nang Eleuteria... There is a plan far greater than the plan you know There is a haven where storm-tossed souls may go Your work is done-now may peace rest with thee Your kindly thoughts and deeds they will live on You call it death- this seemingly untimely but now an endless sleep Yes funeral glooms from your dearest afloat. Corpse-gazing, tears flowing, black-raiment appearing, graveyard grimness buoying. Thinking of you withdrawn into dimness.. Gone but memories of best and past moments resonate and never forgotten. Farewell foster mom and I cry.. Bernie.

Our heartfelt condolences to all of you, Cordovez brothers and sisters, who are living testimonies of what a great mother, Ma'am Eleuteria Cordovez was. She was very prayerful, so she was blessed with a happy death - no suffering, no pain, just peaceful meeting with the Lord. ETERNAL REST, GRANT UNTO ELEUTERIA, O LORD; AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON HER.

Great people are not only the decorated and celebrated, high profile, and successful business men and enterpreneurs....MAMATEL was and will always be ONE OF THE GREATEST PEOPLE ON EARTH. Her seven children are a testament to that and how she led a principled life but with compassion and LOVE OF GOD. I am going to miss her smiles, her laughter and great wisdom and her sense of humor!!! She was a prayer warrior and was ever ready to pray for you. May she forgive me for failing to keep my promise of taking a few days off to spend it with her and take her out to kibitz and critique the world...Mamatel...you are home now! Eternal rest is yours and you are with our Heavenly Father! Matel, pikpika ko or puede sad ang gitik kung magpabanlong ko, okay?...then I know it's you. You will always be in my heart. Give my love to Papalec also.....

Mama Tel was the kindest and most generous person I've ever met. I remember her singing me lullabies so I could fall asleep. I also remember her "One plus one I do not know. Very bad very bad in arithmetic.." And more. She was always there, taking care of Manoy James and me. I love you Mama. Say hi to Papa Lec for me.
