Elijah Guillory

Elijah "Jim" Guillory of Nederland, TX, passed away January 4, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 20, 1927 in Iota, LA. He is survived by his son, Van Guillory and daughter-in-law, Dawn of McGaheysville, VA; daughter, Debbie Eshelman of Katy, TX; sister, Sandra Hamilton of Richardson, TX; sister, Brenda Shelton of Houston, TX; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was captain of a tanker in the oil shipping industry with the Unocal and Sabine companies for 33 years. Following Jim's wishes, there will be no memorial service. The family will receive friends at Jim's residence, Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 12 noon-4:00p.m..
