A Life Remembered

Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Albers

Elizabeth Ann Albers, a cherished homemaker and matriarch, departed from this life on September 9, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. Born on June 22, 1943, in Port Arthur, Texas, Elizabeth dedicated her life to nurturing those around her with love and care.

Elizabeth held a strong faith God, a value instilled in her from an early age while attending the Grace Church of the Nazarene, where she remained a devoted member until its closure. Her spiritual strength was complemented by her commitment to her family, embodying the virtues of kindness and generosity. Elizabeth never met a stranger; she welcomed everyone with open arms, making them feel like part of her family.

Among her proudest accomplishments was her role as a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. She thrived in her role as a matriarch, taking immense joy in her family. Elizabeth cherished her daughter, Lisa Hartman, and her husband, Steven of Port Neches. She embraced her step-sons, Jamie Albers and his wife, Sharon of China, and Jeff Albers and his wife, Kim of Silsbee. Grandchildren Tricia Trevino and her husband, David, and Lyndsey Hartman brought her immeasurable happiness, while her great-grandchildren, Abel Trevino and Aiden Trevino, held an especially dear place in her heart, cherished beyond measure. She was also a proud companion to her furpup, Chrissy, who brought her companionship and joy. Elizabeth is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Bartlett and her husband, Melvin, Judy Bergman, and Marilyn Watson, along with her brother, David White and his wife, Belinda. She had several nieces and nephews who she adored and several great nieces and nephews, also.

From her younger years, Elizabeth had a passion for fishing and hunting, pursuits she relished. She found joy in the beauty of the beach and enjoyed traveling, creating lasting memories that enriched her life.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Henry Albers, and her parents, Walter and Grace White. Elizabeth was also predeceased by siblings Carolyn Magliolo, Margie Goomda, Karen Gladson, Jean Stogdill, Walter White, and Betty White, as well as her nephew, Bart Bartlett.

Elizabeth’s life will be celebrated during the visitation on September 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, 77627. Following the service, a graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland, Texas.

The memory of Elizabeth Ann Albers will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched with her boundless love and unwavering faith. May she rest in eternal peace.
