Betty was born on September 3, 1926 in Houston to the late Paul Sullie LeBlanc, Sr. and Ina Roberts LeBlanc. She was a lifelong area resident.Betty was a sales person at KMart and retired after 30 years of service. She is survived by two sons: Douglas G. Thomas of Port Neches and Galen L. Thomas of Nederland, seven grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren. Betty is also survived by two brothers: Paul S. LeBlanc, Jr., of LaBelle and Lee C. LeBlanc of Bridge City. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Belle Bertrand.Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2011, at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, in Nederland, with Rev. Clary Chesson officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home, Sunday, October 9, 2011, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
