Elizabeth Ann (Fabacher) Kilchrist gained her angel wings on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. “Liz” was born on November 24, 1958 in Port Arthur, Texas. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur. In her early career, she worked as an insurance agent for majority of her life. She later found a passion for caring for the elderly. She also worked for Princess Cruise Lines in Alaska.
Liz had an unwavering love, generosity, and adventurous spirit. She was always willing to lend a helpful hand. She truly was an intricate part of her family.
She met the love of her life Steve Kilchrist in 2007. Together they traveled, taking multiple cruise trips that took them worldwide. Though Liz never had kids of her own, she found immense joy supporting her nieces, nephews, and grandkids. She attended their activities across many states watching them graduate from the army, graduate from college, cheer, sing, swim, play football, and run track.
Left to treasure her memory are her husband, Steve Kilchrist, brother Joseph Fabacher Jr. (wife Diane), sister in-laws Belinda Fabacher and Sharon Fabacher, and nieces and nephews that she thought of as her own. They include: James Walker, Michelle Landry, Karen Flory, Laura Kinney, Lindsey Couvillion, and Trent Fabacher; as well as her stepsons Cory Kilchrist and Michael Kilchrist.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph Fabacher Sr. and Dorothy Fabacher, sister, Barbara Kilchrist, brothers, Leo and Clarence Fabacher, and nephew Anthony Walker.
As per her wishes, Liz will be cremated through Melacon Livingston Funeral Home in Nederland with no services. A memorial mass will be held at a later date in her honor. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers
