Our family is so saddened at the passing of Beth. She had such a gentle spirit and was so caring to her family and friends. As I am writing this, a memory of Beth just popped in my head. We were hosting a gathering of some of the youth and their families from our Church and the kids were swimming. Emma was very little and did not know how to swim very well yet so she was wearing arm floaties. Emma jumped off of the diving board and her floaties (at least one of them) came off and there goes Beth. She jumped in the water without hesitation to rescue her little one. She was going through her first round of chemo so she was wearing a bandanna and ball cap on her head. (I always thought she looked so cute wearing her bandanas and caps). When she jumped in, off came the hat and bandana, then Beth popped up with Emma and she was just smiling like nothing had happened. But that's how Beth was. If someone was needing assistance, Beth was there to help if she could. She was a great lady and the strongest woman I know. We will miss her greatly but can take comfort that she is no longer in any pain and finally cancer free. We love you, Beth and you will forever be in our hearts. Rest In Peace sweet lady.
