Elmena J. "Mena"Coffman, 83, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Mena was born December 10, 1936 in Chopin, Louisiana to James Clifford Johnson and Nettie Carter Johnson. She was delivered by her cousin, Lois Johnson. The youngest of four children, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years Richard Dix Coffman, her brother J. C. Johnson and her sister, Eloise Myers. Survivors include her sister, Sybil Butler; three sons, Mike Coffman and wife Becky of Texarkana, Lynn Coffman and wife Pam of Groves, and David Coffman and wife Loretta of Nederland; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Lynn Coffman officiating.
