Maeve and Family:Glen and I were at ll:30 Mass this Sunday, Sept. 25, when Father Dan announced that Elmo had passed away. Since we were visiting our grand baby, we were not in the area for Elmos service. We are deeply sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Elmo, and though I did not know him well during that time, I did know through others that he was a really good guy.We will keep all of you in our prayers.

To Maeve and family: we are so sorry for the loss of elmo. i loved his sense of humor when i first met him at FBTaylor Insurance. Then on the cruise, we met up again and enjoyed the time with you and him. Know that he is not suffering and in a better place and GOD will take good care of him. GOD will also take care of you and your family. I know time is the only thing that heals. Just remember all of the good times you all had together and that will get you thru this. RIP my friend, Elmo

Loreli and I are so sorry to hear about the loss of Elmo. I first met Elmo when I started dating Loreli in 1969. I dont know if he ever told you but he was a pretty good football player and was competitive at everything he did. We played golf until the day he drove a ball into the lake. He took his golf club and wrapped it around a tree then threw it into the lake.we never played golf again After taking up tennis,we were playing a couple of black guy at Rose HillElmo hit a bad shot and smahed his tennis racket againist the cement court until it looked like a snow shoehe threw it in the garbage can and walked of the court. Those two guys were so scared they didnt know what to think. I said he not mad we just havent found the right sport yet. Some of the times I had were spent with Elmo,I dont have that many good friends sure wish we would have made a better effort to stay in touch. Maybe we will get a chance to play some golf in heaven. Love Jeff Loreli

I am thankful for the time I spent with Elmo and Maeve. Although I only knew him a short time, Elmo was a kind and good man. Most importantly, he made it clear that he loved and served our Lord God. A man can have no better legacy than this.

I first met Elmo at Little League tryouts at Groves Junior High. We were 12 years old. I have many fond memories of Elmo and the time we spent playing baseball. Although we lost touch as the years went by I will never forget him. Elmo had a ball that was way above anyone else in the league. My prayers are with your family during this time of loss. God Bless.
