Elmore D. Nelson

Elmore D. Nelson, 85, of Port Acres, Texas passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Oak Groves Nursing Home in Groves. Elmore was born August 9, 1929 in Bloomington, Kansas to David Nelson and Hattie Grieve Nelson. He was an area resident for 33 years and member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Nederland. He retired from U. S. Intec as a production manager. Elmore was preceded in death by his wives, Virginia Nelson and Mary Nelson; his son Gerald Nelson and his wife Cindy Nelson; and grandchild Aaron Nelson. Survivors include his daughter, Shirley Brew and husband Mike of Marble Falls, TX; two grandchildren, Chris Brew and Brandon Brew. Graveside services will be Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Osborne County Cemetery in Osborne, Kansas.
