Elois Wilson, 87, passed away at her home in Groves, Texas on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Elois was born July 29, 1924 in Haynesville, Louisiana. She resided in Groves and was married to her husband, Melvin, for 65 years. Visitation for family and friends will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. , with Mr. H.L. Collett of West Groves Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Elois was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Sallie Little; and her brother, Homer Little, Jr. Surviving relatives include her husband, Melvin "Meb" Wilson; sister, Doris Duck of Pineland; daughters, Gail Cross and husband David of Groves, and Vicki Loukas and husband John of Sulphur, LA; grandchildren, Luke Loukas of Sulphur, Nikki Gill and husband Rick of Groves, and Darin Cross and wife Kellie of Groves, and three great-grandchildren, Parker Gill, McKenna and Brennan Cross.
