Eloyd “Red” Caraway
Eloyd “Red” Caraway, 85, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away on October 28, 2022 at Cascades in Port Arthur, Texas.
A Graveside service will be November 3, 2022 at 10:00 am at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Alan Little of Mississippi. Visitation will be from 9am to 10am, November 3, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches, Texas.
He was born in Fulerton, Louisiana, on October 11, 1937; he was the son of Harrick Ray Caraway, and Essie Lee Brown.. He was head supervisor mechanic for the city of Groves for 30 years. He was on the board of The Heritage Association in Fort Polk, Louisiana. He also served 5 years in the National Guard during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years and 7 months, Wanda L. Caraway, of Port Neches, Texas; his son, Richard Caraway and his wife, Kelli; and his grandson, Hunter Caraway.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
