Elridge J. Barrilleaux Elridge J. Barrilleaux, 77, of Port Neches passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He was born on March 22, 1938 in Avery Island, Louisiana to Clarence and Helen Comeaux Barrilleaux. Elridge had lived in Port Neches since 1970 and was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. He was first employed with Southern Tobacco and Candy Company for 20 years before becoming a warehouse manager for Texas Marine and Industrial Supply for 19 years. For the last few years he was a school crossing guard at Hillcrest Elementary School in Nederland. Elridge proudly served in the United States Navy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until service time with a rosary service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Elridge is survived by his wife, Gail Barrilleaux of Port Neches, two sons, Keith Alan Mullins and wife, Toni of Baton Rouge, and Kevin Barrilleaux and wife, Michel of Nederland, two sisters, Emily Dutil of New Iberia, and Ann Smith of Buna, brother, Beb Barrilleaux of Avery Island, nine grandchildren, Kevin Barrilleaux, Jr., Rene Doise and husband, Darren, Kendra Gray and husband, Joshua, Michelle Crain, Sheree McCartney and husband, Philip, Brian Mullins, Kallie Riley and husband, Quentin, ShaneBarrilleaux and Kayla Mullins, and ten great grandchildren.
