Elsie Elfrieda Richter

Elsie Richter, 92, of Groves, Texas passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.
Elsie was born December 2, 1927 in Port Arthur, Texas to Daniel Charles Anderson and Elfrieda Liebert Anderson. She was a homemaker, member of the Lutheran faith, and lifelong area resident. Her favorite pastimes, were square dancing and gardening.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Kermit L. Richter; and her identical twin sister Ila Langham.

Survivors include her daughters, Jean Ann Redick and husband Steve of Orange, and Christine Elizabeth Ducote and husband Nickie of Groves; son, Wayne Kermit Richter of Groves; grandchildren, Holly Pruitt, Leslie Cain, Amy Hamm, Harlie Ducote, Heather Wick, Charlie Ducote; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Klem Pruitt officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
