Emil, My condolences to you on the loss of your father. I remember him as a kind man who always spoke nicely to me. And I remember envying his cool Thunderbird! Ted Housen, Estacada, Oregon (you knew me as Teddy)

Dear Emil, Jr. I am so very sorry to have just learned of your father's passing. I remember him poignantly from the memorial gathering we had for my folks, Gwen & Denver. He's with your momma now! He missed her so. I only know of your dad through you. And I mainly know of you through my dad. He really admired you and respected you for the proud manner in which you represented the scouting program. I suspect that your fine traits are a product of your sweet dad. May you find comfort in seeing him in yourself, and in imagining him with his bride! I know the spirit of Denver Knowles is with you now. Helping you in this sad time. Much love, Becky

The world has lost one of the finest men I have ever known. I got to know Emil through repairs I needed and he always went the extra mile to make sure my mowers and saws ran great. I enjoyed talking with him and learning a little about what he knew so much about. He was honest, caring and fun to be around. I offer my deepest condolences to the family and I pray that the peace of God will fill that hole. I will miss him... Scott Bush family
