Emily S. Davis, 86, of Port Neches, Texas died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas. Emily was born January 6, 1929 in Angelina County, Texas to William Stanaland and Mina Frances Smith Stanaland. She was a resident of this area for 60 years and a member of First United Methodist Church in Port Neches. Emily was a Port Neches Police Dept. School Crossing Guard at PNE with 40 years of service. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral home in Port Neches with Reverend Will Agy officiating. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Ryan's Chapel Cemetery in Diboll, Texas. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Davis and her son, Morris Hugh Davis. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Lori Davis of Groves, Texas; sons, Austin Davis and wife Natthawan of Sam Rayburn, Texas; Mark Davis and wife Kelly of Beaumont, Texas; Phillip Davis and wife Lynda of China, Texas; brothers, Tom Stanaland and Ruell Stanaland both of Diboll, Texas; grandchildren, Ryan, George, Nikki, Lil Emily, Kaylin, Taylor Rae, Baylee, Taylor Ann, Camryn, Jaden, Peyton, Alissa, Jordyn, and Deric; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Cadance, Adrian, Holden, Chris, Austin, Noah, Zeke, and Sam Luke.
