Emily Noel Fruge, 23, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at Texas Children Hospital in Houston, Texas. Emily was born July 15, 1991 in Nederland, Texas to Robert Allen Fruge and Terri Lyn Horn Fruge. She was a lifelong area resident and lifelong member of Park Central Church of Christ. Emily graduated in 2010 from Port Neches-Groves High School where she served as the manager of the Rock-A-Noo's from 2006-2009. She also participated in many church activities. Emily was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sylvia "Nanee" Fruge. Survivors include her parents, Robert and Terri Fruge of Groves; sister, Brittany Lynelle Fruge of Nederland; brother, Justin Brent Fruge of Nederland; grandparents, Paw-Paw Kenneth Horn and Mee Mee Frinacie Horn, Robert "Paw Paw" Fruge; and her beloved cocker spaniel "Abigail". Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Park Central Church of Christ with Mr. Jeremy Houck officiating and assisted by Mr. Brian French. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

We never had the priviledge to meet Ms Emily personally, but I had the priviledge to work with her father when he was with the Groves PD. My husband, Steve, worked with PawPaw Horn at Firestone. I'm sure since Robert & Teri were the parents that Ms Emily was a fantastic person to know. I know she fought a mighty hard battle in her short time here on earth but rest assure she's not hurting and she resting now. I'm very sorry for the loss of your daughter and if there is anything you or your family need just remember we're only 1 block away. May Ms Emily rest in peace forever and ever, God sure picked an awesome little angel. We pray that GOD gives you and your family the strength you need to get through this trying time. The Fruge' family will be in our everyday thoughts & prayers.
