Emily Diane Morvant, 59, of Groves, Texas passed away Friday, October 27, 2017. Emily was born October 10, 1958 in Port Arthur, Texas to Paul J. Hollier and Virgie Hamilton Hollier. Emily was a lifelong area resident, homemaker and member of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Hollier; granddaughter, Evyn Morvant; and two Nuccio grandbabies. Survivors include her husband, Michael Morvant of Groves; daughters, Chrissy Nuccio and husband Eric of Buna, and Meredith Morvant of San Angelo; sons, Christopher Morvant and wife Ashley of Lumberton, and Paul Morvant of Bridge City; sisters, Dee Wiltz and husband Wayne of Nederland, Joyce Daspit and husband David of Nederland; brother, Emmett Hollier of Nederland; sister-in-law, Denise Hollier of Orangefield; grandchildren, Hally Doucet, Wyatt Nuccio, Morgan Nuccio, Cierra Nuccio, Maddox Bohannon, Graysen Morvant, Channing Morvant, Blayke Morvant, and Gunnar Dean. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friends wishing to make memorial contributions may send them to: National MS Society: Lone Star, 8111 N. So sorry to hear that Emily is no longer here to spread her love to everyone. I had not seen her since high school, but we kept up on facebook. I know she will be missed, but will be watching over her family. Such a loving person.

Emmett, Joyce,Dee and all of the Morvant family, my deepest sympathy on Diane's passing. We have known one another for a lifetime, playing together your mom and dad making rosaries, parties we all use to be a part of. Our families go way way back. Memories I will cherish for a lifetime.
