Emma Jane Hutchinson

Emma Jane Hutchinson, 80, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Emma was born April 20, 1938 in Kingsville, Texas to Arrel Ready and Peytona Swansey Ready. She was a resident of Baytown before moving to Groves 4 years ago. She was a member of Baytown Lutheran Church. Emma had a Masters Degree in Social Services and was a retired Social Worker and Pre-Release Counselor for Larry Gist State Jail. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Crawford Ready. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Wudell-Byass of New Braunfels; sons, Michael Frances Newell of San Antonio, Mark Allen Newell of Yuba City, CA, David Wayne Newell of Sequin; brother, Vance Henry Ready and wife Janet of Conroe; grandchildren, Arianna Peytona Newell and Stephanie Frances Newell. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
