Worked with Eric "Lew" for the past 8 years. Lew had a dry sense of humor, he demonstrated and spoke of his family always in a loving way. Lew will be missed.

The first day I met Eric was at the Coast Guard Boat House on Pleasure Island. He impressed me as he was riding his bicycle and just smiled when I asked him why! To me he was a quiet man that always had time to help me with a project when I needed him. He loved to talk of his family and everything that was going on at home. I enjoyed these stories as I was away from my family and he was sort of sharing his with me. Eric and I discussed life and the blessings the Lord had given us. He was always thankful for a good wife, his children and the few people he called friends. Lew will be missed by all of us that had the honor to have served with him. I am thankful that our paths crossed during this lifetime.
