Erline O. Wakefield, 77, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born April 5, 1942 in Richton, Mississippi to Homer Overstreet and Lillian Bunch Overstreet. Erline had lived in Port Neches for 50 years and was a member of Memorial Church of Christ. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2019 in Mineral Springs Cemetery in Mineral Springs, Arkansas. Erline was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her husband, Henry Wakefield of Port Neches, three daughters, Stephany Whisenhunt and husband Tommy of Jasper, Penny Wakefield of Port Neches and Terri Davis and husband Steven of Nederland, seven grandchildren, Blake Wakefield, Clinton Pitts and wife Candace, Jessica Pitts, Taylor Melancon, Tori Melancon, Corben Davis and Henry Davis and one great grandchild, Carrigan Holmes
