Erman Moon unselfishly served our great country in the U. S. Army as a paratrooper. He made many jumps and recently told me from his hospital bed that he would do it all over again if he had the opportunity. In 1958 I was serving in the Army as a clerk typist at Ft. Chaffee, Arkansas. One day while on duty at my desk processing records of new recruits, I opened a folder and much to my surprise and delight were the records of Erman Moon. What an honor to process the records of my valiant cousin, Sonny Moon. Enjoy the new and exciting world that God has prepared for us my dear cousin! Erman and his wife Joyce loved their family and enjoyed riding in their 1925 Series A Moon and attending our annual Moon meets. He came up to St. Louis to see my collection of Moons several times and we talked about Moons many times. He will be missed.

Thank you Lord that we do not have to say goodbye to Sonny but just until we are joined again in Heaven! Until we will laugh at his funny antics and rejoice in all that he did for our family. Love for him and our family will see us through this heartbreak.
