Millie, Fred and I were so saddened to hear about Uncle Earnest passing away. I wish we could be there but we are in Canada. I am keeping you, Julie, and Conrad in my prayers during this very difficult time. I know Mom would really want to be there for her brother and you but there is no way she would be able to make the trip. I have only the very fondest memories of Uncle Earnest and he was a very special person. Love, Carol Ebeier Myers

What do I say?.....Mr. Yanta, Ernie, my old man, my patient, my mentor, my friend! I was with you in the good times. I was there with you in the bad times. An I was by your side as you took your last breath here on earth! Heaven has gained another angel and I have another guardian! I love you (but you knew that). I will miss you dearly! I'm a part of the Yanta family now and they can't get rid of me! Lol

I think I was one of the first persons to meet Ernie when he came to the area. I picked him up to bring him to his new job at Raiford Motors in Port Arthur in the 1970's. He was a very fine gentleman and I'm proud to have called him my friend. Condolences to his family.
