Ernestine Ballard, 89, of Nederland, died August 27, 2010. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson Class of 1940 in Port Arthur, Texas. She worked for 35 years in the Research Division at Texaco in Port Arthur. Ernestine was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Port Neches. She is preceded by her husband Wiley P. Ballard. Surviving her is one daughter; Glenda Williford and her husband, T.C. of Port Neches, one sister Joyce Loukas and husband, Thomas of Groves, two grandchildren, Rhett Williford and wife Shana of Port Neches, Kristyn Stillwell and husband Mike of Spring, Texas. She is also the great grandmother of four great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date.
