Ethel M. Baker Ethel M. Baker, 87, of Groves passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Mid Jefferson Extended Care in Nederland, Texas. She was born on September 20, 1929 in Kirbyville, Texas to Robert and Ethel Ehret Williams. Ethel had lived in Groves for over 55 years. A visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Baker, sister, Elizabeth Holliday and brothers, Robert Williams, Emory Williams and Kenneth Williams. She is survived by two daughters, Linda G. Pittman and husband, Jesse of Katy, TX and Carol J. Baker of Groves, son, Glenn R. Baker of Groves, step son, Louis H. Baker of Orangefield, brother, Ralph W. Williams of Nederland, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
