Ethel Mary Vizuete

Ethel M. Vizuete, 86, of Nederland, Texas passed away on June 26, 2014 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. She was born on September 14, 1927 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Felix Bonin and Elina Bourque Bonin. She retired in Tele Communications from Southwestern Bell and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Ethel is survived by her daughters, Pamela Vizuete of Stafford, TX and Elizabeth V. Meaders and husband, Terry of Pidcoke, TX; son, Dr. Jack R. Vizuete and wife, Sue of Boerne, TX; grandchildren, Russell Quick, Benjamin Quick, Dr. John Vizuete, Stephen Vizuete, Madeline Meaders, Christopher Meaders, Terra Castanon, and Jess Meaders. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Ethel is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 63 years, Jack J. Vizuete; brothers, Felix Bonin, Fred Bonin, Arthur Bonin, Ned Bonin, Lee Bonin; and sisters, Mabel Boutte, Anna Steen, and Rhona Stansbury. She will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral Services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Kevin Badeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
