Eugenia Reena Smiley, 51, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, Texas. Eugenia was born August 16, 1964 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Eugene Ashley Smiley and Betty Jane Bourg Smiley. She was a resident of this area for 49 years and a member of Bethel Temple in Port Neches. Eugenia was one of the first handicapped students to graduate from Port Neches-Groves High School. She worked at Golden Corral for 4 years. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Dr. Paul Vick officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the funeral home. Eugenia was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Ashley Smiley. Surviving relatives include her mother, Betty Jane Smiley of Groves, Texas; sisters, Rebecca Iacoviello of Seabrook, Texas; Trudy White and husband, James of Bridge City, Texas; brothers, Duane Smiley and wife, Dee of Groves, Texas; Rodney Dean Smiley and wife, Shelly of Crystal Beach, Texas; and "Her Boys"(The Cats) Dewey and Louie. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Temple 344 Twin City Hwy Port Neches, Texas 77651.
