Eunice Fitts, 94, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Eunice was born April 13, 1924 in Florien, Louisiana to David Corley and Janie Moore Corley. She was a homemaker and resident of Groves for 68 years. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Homer Fitts. Survivors include her daughter, Janell Richards and husband Roddy of Bridge City; son, Randall Fitts and wife Denise of Bridge City; grandchildren, Jason Richards and wife Nicole, Clay Richards and wife Tiffany, Karon Padgett and husband Zach, Thad Fitts, Shawn Fitts and wife Melissa, Lance Fitts and wife Ashley, Allison Luce and husband Troy; great-grandchildren, Carson, Colton, Nixon Kate, Landon, Emmy, Corley, Cannon, Collins, Courtnie, Haylie, Derek, Mason, Addison, Brooklyn, Kinley, Everly and Lane. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Charles Miller officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. at Pisgah Cemetery in Florien, Louisiana.
