Eva Irene Eden

Eva Irene Eden, 78, of Port Neches, Texas passed away May 12, 2011 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. She was born August 14, 1932 in Bothwell, Mississippi to the late William Graham and Eva Bell Middleton Elder. She served her county proudly in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2011. Funeral Services will be Monday, May 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.She is survived by her daughter, Sharon LeBlanc and husband Terry of Port Neches 4 sons, William Welch and wife Marie of Port Neches, George Eden and wife Lona of the Cayman Islands, Richard Eden and wife Cindy of Nederland, and Robert Eden and wife Julianna of Bartow, Florida and 10 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband William D. Eden.
