Eva María Navarro, 51, of Pattison, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Houston Methodist West Hospital in Houston, Texas. Eva was born on July 9, 1971, in Port Arthur, Texas to Alberto Navarro and Maria Ernestine Navarro.
Eva was a beautiful person inside and out. She was full of life with a fun spirited soul. Eva was very much daddy’s girl who enjoyed watching football and baseball with her daddy. Her favorite teams included the Green Bay Packers, New York Yankees and finally the Astros. Eva had dreams of getting married and having children, but due to Eva’s kidney disease, she was not able to make those dreams come true. Eva was, however, blessed with an extended life thanks to her aunt Pauline. Her aunt donated her kidney for Eva to have a kidney transplant. Eva cherished her family dearly and looked forward to family gatherings. She loved celebrating Halloween and the 4th of July. Eva liked Star Wars movies, modeling and her favorite color was red. Eva’s infectious smile and beautiful spirit will be missed tremendously.
Eva was preceded in death by her father, Alberto Navarro, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Felipe Subia, Sr., and Ernestina (Galvan) Subia; and paternal grandparents, Ruben Navarro, and Eva (Polanco) Navarro; uncle, James “Jimmy” Earl Davis, Sr., her beloved fur baby’s Lotus and Zadee.
