Evelyn Guidry

Evelyn Guidry, 91, of Port Neches, Texas died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Graystone Lifecare in Houston, Texas. Evelyn was born June 19, 1918 in Arnaudville, Louisiana to George Arnaud and Lelia De Kerlegand Arnaud. She was a resident of Port Neches and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. She was a retired accounting clerk at Great Lakes Carbon with 22 years of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Rev. Bennie Patillo officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 with a Vigil Service to begin at 5:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. She was preceded in death by husband, Percy Guidry and three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Lelia Johnson and husband, Narwin "N.G." of Port Neches, Texas; son, Kenneth Guidry and wife, Lisa of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Jeff Johnson and wife, Terri, Angie Johnson, Jordan Guidry and Nathan Guidry. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Graystone Lifecare in Houston and Gulf Coast Hospice Houston.
