Today, I received the news of Mr Blankenship's passing and still at this moment, I am struggling with the reality of it. Mr Blankenship (aka "my boyfriend") started out as one of my lab patients but immediately turned in to one of my most favorite people in the world. I can hear him saying "theres my girl" when I would come around the corner to call his name. On my birthday this past year, Mr Blankenship said he forgot to bring me a cupcake so I told him that I was gonna hold him to bringing me a cupcake this year. Well, since things dont always go as we plan, I am going to make him this promise: On my birthday this year, I am going to go get 2 cupcakes (your favorite flavor, of course) and I'm going to come sit with u AND EAT THEM BOTH...lol! I am going to miss you so very much " my boyfriend"...you have impacted my life more than I think you ever realized!! Stacy
