Fern Evan Stopyra, 79, of Groves, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at her residence in Groves.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Officiating will be Mr. Jeff Darby. A burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland, Texas.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

Fern was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on January 21, 1944, to Antoine E. LeTulle and Birdy Fields-LeTulle.

She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty years, Richard C. Stopyra.

She is survived by her two sons, Edward C. Rives and wife DeeAnn of Frisco City, Alabama; and Thomas W. Carter of Groves, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley Dzenowski and husband Justin; Heather McLane and husband Ryan; great-grandchildren, Owen, Austin, and Morgan Dzenowski; Braxton and Noah McLane; niece, Michelle (LeTulle) McMichael and husband Roger of Benwheeler, TX;
