Frances A. Betancourt

Frances A. Betancourt, 77, of Groves passed away on Thursday September 10th 2015 at Magnolia Manor in Groves. She was born in Arkansas on May 19, 1938 to the late Arlie Lee Merrell and Frances Carnelia Norris.

Frances is survived by her loving husband, Jose Betancourt; her six children, Rickey, Buster, Chris, Janna Morwill, Kay Philpott and Simon Zamora; her sister, Mary also known as “Aunt Mary”; her nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The Funeral service will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Wednesday, September 16th at 10:00 a.m. with a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., September 15th , also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
