Frances Coyle McClain Barrow Ford was born January 21st, 1925 to parents Ida Alma and Alex McClain, in Deemer, Mississippi. She died on Monday, September 14th in Tyler, Texas. She was the youngest of 12 children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward Barrow, and son, Joseph Edward Barrow, Jr., as well as husband, Charles Paul 'Charlie' Ford. She is survived by her son Robin William Barrow and wife Susan, daughter-in-law Nancy Barrow, grandsons Joseph E. Barrow III and wife Trisha, John Barrow, and granddaughter, Kathleen Cole, and eight great-grandchildren. Other family include her nieces Jerry Landrum of Tyler, Jody Slaydon of Midland, nephews Butch Cooper & wife Evelyn of LaBelle, FL, and Leroy Cooper and wife Verna, of Broaddus, Texas. Mrs. Ford lived in Beaumont for most of her life, and later in Nederland and Tyler, to where she was evacuated during Hurricane Rita in 2005. Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am on Thursday, September 17th at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

What good memories we have of our years as neighbors on Congress St. Our neighborhood was more of a "family". Those were good times.

France Ford was a sweet person and her Step Granddaughter Anne D Barrow will be coming with her husband Jonathan W. Barrow. I love my grand mother and always will.
