Frances Ann Richard, 80, of Groves, Tx passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Peace Lutheran Church in Groves. Officiating will be Reverend Richard Turner and Reverend Timothy Dinger of Peace Lutheran Church of Groves. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.

Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Levingston Funeral Home of Groves.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on July 10, 1941, she was the daughter of Frederick Schneider and Elnora Wehmeyer Schneider. Frances lived in the area for forty-eight years and was a homemaker. She liked to cook, and loved being with family. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, now known as Peace Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-eight years, Don Richard of Groves.

She is survived by her daughter; Angela Johnson and husband Ricky of Groves ; step-daughters, Cindy Hall of Colorado and Cathy Bodin and husband Tommy of Groves; son, Jason Ewing of Dallas; step-son Mike Richard and wife Michelle of Spring; sister, Janet Walker of Groves; seven grandchildren, Ricky Johnson and wife Brittany; Ryan Johnson and wife Mary Kay; Jennifer James and husband Trent; Brandon Bodin; Taylor Richard; Amy Romero and husband Craig; Katy Wyly and husband Brad; eight great-grandchildren, Reese, Matthew, Caylum, Gavin, Nathan, Madison, Kadence, and Peyton as well as several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Duane King, Jacob King, Mark Wright, William Wright, Michael Tweedel, and Tyler Spikes.
