Francis V. Dack, 85, of Port Neches, Texas died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Francis was born March 31, 1929 in Belleville, New York to George A. Dack and Marie S. Peyton Dack. He was a resident of this area for 39 years and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Francis retired from Stone & Webster in Syracuse with 50 years of service. He was a member of Iron Workers Local # 60 and the Texas Iron Workers. Francis was a US Navy Veteran and during his service he brought over the Battleship of Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend T. R. Blanco officiating. Military graveside Rites to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary service to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Surviving relatives include his wife, Dolly Dack of Port Neches, Texas; daughters, Susan, Terri, Stacie, Tammi, Tricia, Pansy, and Christine; sons, Todd, Stephen, Shawn, Jerald, and Earl Jr., and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
