Francis "Buddy" Ware, 85, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Buddy was born October 21, 1932 in Pensacola, Florida to John Edward Ware and Grace Paulsen Ware. He was a longtime area resident and member of the United Methodist Temple. Buddy retired from Coca-Cola and the United Way of Beaumont. He was a member of the Port Arthur Rotary Club where he served as Past President and Secretary. Buddy proudly served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Hall; and brothers, Robert Ware and Richard Ware. Survivors include his wife, Norma "Janey" Ware of Port Arthur; daughters, Sharon Burton and husband Don of Huntsville, Janice Douga and husband Mike of Nederland; son, Timothy Ware and wife Patricia of Houston; brother, John Ware and wife Nadine of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Shane Douga, Cayne Douga, and Meghan Burton; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Chaplain Warren Wargo officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends wishing to make memorial contributions may send them to the charity of choice.
