Sending my love and condolences to Aunt Martha and all the kids. I remember when I was a little girl about 4 or 5 that when Uncle Buddy (that's what we called him then) got out of the Navy, he came to stay with us (my mom was his sister, Aileen). It was so fun having him live there, but then he moved out. I remember us being at the wedding when he and Aunt Martha got married. I thought it was the most beautiful wedding ever! I remember each of the kids being born. I remember going to visit them in Nederland before they moved to Rice Farm Road. It was always a fun day when mom and dad went to visit Uncle Buddy and Aunt Martha and family. I remember going to visit Aunt Martha's parents, who lived a couple of streets over from them. I remember Uncle Buddy and Aunt Martha being the sweetest, kindest people and was so proud that I was kin to them. But now, all the brothers and sisters ( 9 of them) are reunited in heaven, together again. What a wonderful thing, but he will be so missed by those of us who knew him and loved him.
