Frank Salinas, 76, of Nederland, Texas passed away Friday, October 5, 2018. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 4, 1942 to the late Arnulfo Salinas and Angelica Torres Salinas. Frank retired as a brick mason and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur.
Those left to cherish Frank’s memory are his 4 sisters, Mary Angelica White of Port Arthur, Shirley Ducote of Port Neches, Alice Simmons and her husband, Jeff of Evans, LA, and Micki Corley and her husband, Gerald of Lumberton; his 3 brothers, Joe Salinas of Port Neches, Jesse Salinas of Port Acres, and Pete Salinas of Nederland; and many nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a Rosary being recited at 1:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. David Edwards celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur.
