Freda Jean Buntyn

Freda Jean Buntyn, 84, of Groves, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Freda was born October 11, 1925 in Chillicothe, Texas to Thomas Luther Peddy and Georgia Duke Peddy. She was a resident of Groves for 58 years and member of Val Verde Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 26, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday evening from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe C. Buntyn. Survivors include her daughter, Georgia Ann Jenkins and husband, Dan H. Jenkins of Orange, TX; son, Joe Thomas Buntyn of Groves, TX; brother, William Randall Peddy of Vidor, TX; two grandchildren, Stacy Lynn Ray and Mary Jean Schuff; and six great-grandchildren.
