Freda Jean Licatino

Freda Jean Licatino (Jeanne), a loving wife, mother, and caregiver passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on the morning of July 23, 2024, at her home in Port Neches, Texas.

Jeanne is survived by her ever-loving husband, Roy Licatino, and brother Randy Blanco. She is also survived by her sons Mark Kimball and wife Janice, Aaron Kimball and wife Leanna, and daughter Jeanna Licatino and partner Blue Ytuarte. Each of her children carry a piece of her with them - strength, mind, and heart. Jeanne also leaves behind her children Anna, Alyssa, and Aiden Licatino, with whom she was blessed with later in life, as well as her beautiful granddaughters, Caylee and Kaia. Jeanne will also be greatly missed by her close family and friends, Justin and Shanna Blanco, as well as Joe, Yvonne, Matthew, and Marcie Juarez.

In her passing, Jeanne joins into an eternal bond with Bill Blanco (father), Gloria Jean Blanco (mother), and Jane Herring (sister), who we know were there to welcome Jeanne into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jeanne will forever be remembered by her devout love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and always ending conversations with “I Love You with All My Heart”. Jeanne will always be the Wind Beneath Our Wings.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jeanne’s name to Buckner International, a child and family advocacy group, using the link below.

FOREVER MY GRANNY!!! There was never a time where my granny wasn’t by my side…even since birth. She was more than my granny , she is MY savior, she MY protecter , she is my best friend , she is my grandma , she is my mom , she was my dad….she was whoever I needed her to be…my granny and pawpaw where the only people who never gave up no matter how hardheaded I was. I miss her calling , beginning the call with “did you fall of the face of the earth” to ending the call with “I love you with all my heart” she IS my soul and will continue to be forever on..

I will miss Jeanne. She was my go to keep track of the Blanco Family. We used to have family get together every year at Dam B. I wish I had known she was sick and could have told her goodby. She was one of God's angels to care for others. She did so with so much compassion. Always putting those she helped first before her self. I know God has a special place for her.

I remember growing up I would go visit Jeanne and her family with my mom. My mom (Maggie) and her had a friendship that lasted decades. Ironically, a few weeks ago Jeanne came to my mind and I asked my mom if she had spoken with her. She was always so sweet and kind and I know she will be missed by many. My sincerest condolences to all of her family and friends. ♥️

It's hard to find the right words in moments like these. Jeanne had been on my mind lately, and I was thinking about calling her. That's usually how it was; we would be on each other's minds and one of us would call. We may not have talked often, but when we did, it felt like no time had passed at all. Her friendship meant more to me than words can express, and I'm grateful for every moment we shared. Fly high, 'Fred'—the nickname I lovingly gave you back in school. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Love you!
