Freddie Lee Cotten, 86, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2022 at The Carpenter House in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Officiating will be Reverend Sean Leick of First United Methodist Church in Port Neches. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the funeral home.
Born in Slagle, Louisiana, on March 14, 1936, she was the daughter of Jessie Mitchell Johnson and Beulah Bryant Johnson.
Freddie was a resident of this area for 51 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Port Neches and Fraternal Order of Eagles – Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from Texas Department of Human Services as a Contract Administrator with 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Thomas Isaac Cotten; son, Tim Cotten; and son-in-law, Ray Carr.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Graham and husband Gary of Shreveport, Louisiana and Linda Carr of Port Neches, Texas; sister, Helen Bryant and husband Clifton of DeRidder, Louisiana; brother, Donald Johnson and wife Judy of DeRidder, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jessica Hatton and husband Heath, Megan Byrd and husband Sam, Kelly Graham and wife Jennifer, Tim Cotten, Jr., and wife Amy, Thomas Cotten and wife Elsa, Bill Cotten and wife Trina, Sarah Carr and husband Noah Williams; great grandchildren, Sydney, Grace, Avery, Sloan, Jace, Tori, Landon, Ella, Harrison Ray, Henry, Andy, Lydia, Jace, Nora, and Ernesto.
