Frederick "Freddie" Wolfford

Frederick “Freddie”J. Wolfford, 67, of Nederland passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021. Freddie was born December 5, 1953, in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Liles Wolfford and Juanita Hartner. Freddie was a jack-of-all trades, hardworking, and a perfectionist who took much pride in his work. He loved fishing, camping in his RV and his animals. He was a dedicated husband and father and will be dearly missed by all.

Those left behind to cherish Freddie’s memory are his wife of 48 years, Dianne Wolfford; his children, Amanda Elkins and her husband Clinton, Alica Almaraz and her husband Isaac, and Nathan Wolfford and his husband Keith; his grandchildren, Michael Tyson and his wife Kim, Krystal Tyson, Dio Almaraz, and Trisha Almaraz; and his great-grandchild, Emma Tyson. Freddie is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society and the Humane Society of Southeast Texas

I worked with Freddy at huntsman chemical. He was one of the more enjoyable, positive people that you could work with. Also very conscientious. He will certainly be missed Lord bless the family
