Garry Lee Farris, 84, of Port Neches, passed away on Friday, June, 10 2022, at Advocates for the Independent Nederland,Tx

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves,Tx. Officiating will be Rev. Sean Leicq. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. The services will start at 11:00 following he will be interred at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches,Tx.

He was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on August 27, 1937, He was the son of Gabe Farris and Alberta Lee. Garry was a lifelong resident of Port Neches. He attended First United Methodist Church in Port Neches. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Port Neches. He worked 43 years in the area as an Operator for Texaco Chemical and Huntsman. Later, he served as Night Superintendent.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, LeeAnn Fabacher.

He is survived by his wife, Phyliss Farris of Port Neches; Brother in Law, Herbert Lavender of Lucas, Tx; son, Darren Farris of Dallas, Tx; grandchildren, Brittany Jennis, Judd Farris and wife Kelsey; Trent Fabacher and wife Leta; Casey Farris; Derrick Farris, Megan Lindsey and husband Lance; great grandchildren, Madilyn Bachelder, Avery Fabacher, and Ulysses Daigle

Serving as pallbearers will be Trent Fabacher, Herbert Lavender, Judd Farris, Roy Romke, Derrick Farris, and Joe Fabacher..
