George Ann “Mimi” Tillotson, 87, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. George Ann was born on January 18, 1936, in Port Arthur, Texas to George and Willie Wilson.
George Ann was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. George Ann had a pure and giving heart and loved spending time with her family and had a love for animals. She always enjoyed cooking the pre-game meals for the girls’ volleyball team to get them ready to win. Mimi always treated anyone that entered her home like family and loved showing off her silly faces.
George Ann was preceded in death by her parents, George William Wilson, and Willie A. (Hopkins) Wilson; husband, Larry E. Tillotson; brother, William Michael Wilson.
Those left to cherish George Ann’s memory include her daughter, Darlene Totels of Port Neches; son, Michael Tillotson, and wife Linda of Port Neches; grandchildren, Laci Becnel, Skylar Totels, Maegan Shutter and Autumn Tillotson; great grandchildren, Korbin Becnel, and Annabelle Shutter-Heartley; sister, Laura Jean Wilson.
A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, September 18, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., by the Port Neches Knights of Columbus Council #2461, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches, with Rev. Jim McClintock officiating. Rite of Committal will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Serving as pallbearers include Michael Tillotson, Randy Theriot, Jerome LeBlanc, James Sparrow, Skylar Totels and Ren Brucia.
