I worked with George for many years at Unocal. He and I were both, Blender Operators...Although, he was always my mentor. He was quiet and soft-spoken...but, yet, a 'larger than life' kind of guy. I appreciated his intelligence and kindness. And, I valued our friendship. I now live in Cedar Park with my wife and family. While passing through Beaumont about 10 or 12 years ago, I stopped to visit George for a bit. It had been a long time since I'd seen him. But...he hadn't changed at all. I didn't think that that would be our last visit. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. With love and appreciation, Mike Pontious

I have such fond memories of my uncle George and aunt Mary throughout my younger life. I regret not being able to be at his funeral due to a medical crises here. My love to all.
