My grandmother who raised me passed in December at the age of 89. She had been married to my grandfather for 72 years, since she was 17. She did everything for him. So when she was gone, he took this very hard. He was sad and lonely and told me he spoke to her photo every day, pretending it was her. He loved her so much. Over the past few months his health declined, and we all felt he really didn't want to live without her. A few hours ago, he joined her in the afterlife, at the age of 91. My grandparents were my everything and I am sad to see them go but they are together now and I thank them for everything they did for me, for loving me unconditionally, for ALWAYS being there for me when I needed them, for teaching me what a good parent is, and for showing me what true love really looks like (even if they drove each other crazy at times lol). I will miss you Popo, but I know you will be happier where you are now. I will never forget you.
