Gerald James Broussard

Gerald James Broussard, 67, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013. Gerald was born August 10, 1945 in Abbeville, Louisiana and was a lifelong area resident. He was employed with Gillespie's Engine Service Center for many years and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Oran Joseph Broussard; sister, Frances Marie Hebert; and niece, Avery Anne Guerra. Survivors include his mother, Anita M. Broussard of Port Arthur; daughter, Tiffany Broussard of Groves; son, Spence Broussard of Groves; brother, Rodney Lee Broussard and wife, Debbie of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Kolby Duhon, Kassie Broussard, Gabbie Sweat, and Gage Fawvor; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2013 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Duc Q. Duong officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
