Gerald Clark Cunningham Gerald Clark Cunningham, 88, of Groves passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He was born on October 5, 1928 in El-Dorado, Arkansas to Robert Earl Sprowl Cunningham and Oma Lenora Dubois Cunningham. Gerald had lived in Groves for 65 years and was retired from Gulf/Chevron as a mechanical and electrical engineer after 42 years of service. He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech and a United States Army veteran. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Jeremy Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Gerald was preceded in death by his wife Jean Frances Dunnahoe Cunningham, sister Dorothy Marie Flake, brothers Robert Dubois Cunningham, John Blanchard Cunningham, James Earl Cunningham and grandson Jonathan Bailey. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Marie Price and husband Troy of Clanton, AL, three sons, Gerald S. Cunningham of Conroe, TX, James D. Cunningham and wife JoLynn of El-Dorado, AR, and Robert J. Cunningham of Groves, TX, and six grandchildren, Michael Rigdon, Daniel Rigdon and wife Mery-Lin, Julie Loftin, Jacob Cunningham, Jadon Cunningham and Ethan Bailey. The family would like to thank Dr. Jay Schachner and his nurse Shele for their special care of Mr. Cunningham.
