Gerald J. Mora, 82, of Port Arthur, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2018. Gerald was born on November 24, 1935 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Jack Mora and Theda Dumesil Mora. He retired from DuPont as a supervisor with 31 years of service. Gerald was also a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.
Those left to cherish Gerald’s memory are his wife of 63 years, Delores Mora of Port Arthur; his daughters, Darlene Rose and her husband, Don of Port Arthur and Jeanine Grant and her husband, Chris Hebert of Beaumont; his son, Paul Mora and his wife, Pat of Groves; his sister, Kathy Fournet and her husband, Doug of Port Neches; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with interment to follow. Services are under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland
